Measuring for a Bracelet

We are currently under construction and will return soon.

I have found that the easiest way to measure your wrist is to take a string and wrap it around your wrist and then measure it with a ruler. For stretch bracelets, most customers desire a slightly snug fit and especially for the stretch bracelets because they have an elastic string. Place the string as you would wear a bracelet, snug or slightly looser. Then buy that measurement. When the beads are large, it requires a slightly larger size. When beads are very small, you can generally wear an exact size that you measured snugly. The most common size bracelet is 7 inches and 7.25. This is considered average. If your wrist measures 6.50 you can generally wear a stretch bracelet that measures 6.75 or 7.-inches.  If you stack them and wear several, then measure further down your arm to get a larger size for bracelets that are worn lower.

When measuring for a beaded string bracelet or a wire wrapped bracelet use the string method but add 1/2 inch for a comfortable fit. Most bracelets are listed with the length that includes the clasp. A clasp takes up about 1/2 inch. If your wrist measures 6.50 inches, a 7-inch bracelet would be your size.
